His prescription goes beyond tax breaks to include rent freezes, increased housing construction, breaking corporate monopolies, banning AI, raising wages, and taxing billionaires. “Guaranteed,” he says, these steps will lower costs for Californians.

On immigration, Mendez emphasizes the economic contributions of immigrants, noting they bring in $100 billion in tax revenue. He advocates abolishing ICE, replacing it with the older INS agency, and streamlining lawful immigration processes to protect both immigrants and Americans. He also points to employer enforcement and addressing root causes abroad as vital to fixing immigration.

Mendez’s foreign policy stance is clear: stop wasting taxpayer money on endless wars and build stronger alliances. He argues that a more sensible foreign policy will reduce immigration pressures and prevent “never-ending wars.”

On election integrity, Mendez rejects federal overreach, citing the 10th Amendment and dismissing fears of widespread voter fraud as “ridiculous.” He believes states should continue managing their own elections without federal interference.

When it comes to disaster aid, Mendez promises to use any means necessary — including bipartisan partnerships, public pressure, and procedural tactics — to secure funding for communities hit by wildfires, showing a willingness to engage in “dirty tactics” if needed.

Finally, on congressional ethics, Mendez supports banning lawmakers from trading individual stocks to prevent insider trading abuses that have enriched politicians at the public’s expense.
