The Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Oklahoma, claiming the state did not produce its full voter registration lists when requested, and Attorney General Gentner Drummond has pledged full cooperation.

Oklahoma is one of five states added to the ongoing lawsuit today.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said it's the Justice Department's duty to ensure transparency and secure elections across the country.

"The integrity of our elections is foundational to our republic, and efforts to identify and eliminate voter fraud are both appropriate and necessary," Drummond said.

"We have no comment at this time, since we have not yet been served with a lawsuit. However, Secretary Ziriax stands by his previous letter to the DOJ where he stated that Oklahoma did offer the state's voter list, but is bound by state law to protect voters' personally identifiable information such as driver license numbers and Social Security numbers," Oklahoma State Election Board officials told KOCO 5.
