FAA Employee Arrested for Threatening to Kill Trump Amid Epstein Files Fury
A New Hampshire FAA worker faces charges for threatening to kill Donald Trump, sparked by anger over the Epstein files and other grievances. This chilling case adds to a disturbing pattern of threats against the former president linked to political and personal grievances.
Dean DelleChiaie, a 35-year-old mechanical engineer at the Federal Aviation Administration in New Hampshire, was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill former President Donald Trump. According to a U.S. attorney’s office affidavit, DelleChiaie conducted alarming internet searches on his government work computer, including queries like "how to get a gun into a federal facility," previous assassination attempts against presidents, and the explicit phrase "I am going to kill Donald John Trump."
The FAA’s IT department alerted the U.S. Secret Service after DelleChiaie tried to delete his search history from his work computer. When confronted by law enforcement, he admitted to the searches and expressed remorse, saying he was upset with the Trump administration over issues including the 2020 election, presidential pardons, and notably the Jeffrey Epstein files — DOJ documents related to the notorious sex offender that have fueled public outrage over elite cover-ups.
DelleChiaie’s disturbing behavior extended beyond internet searches. He sent an email to the White House with the subject “Contact the President,” declaring his intent to "neutralize/kill" Trump because of the former president’s war policies, which DelleChiaie described as terrorism. The affidavit also revealed a whiteboard in his apartment with cryptic notes about avoiding arrest and a plan to go to Washington, DC, if no action was taken.
Mental health struggles surfaced during the investigation. DelleChiaie admitted to depression, ongoing therapy including ketamine treatments, and substance use including daily cannabis and occasional mushrooms. He also owned firearms, which were secured in his apartment and at a friend’s residence.
This case is part of a troubling wave of threats against Trump, including the recent indictment of former FBI Director James Comey over a cryptic Instagram post interpreted as a threat, and the arrest of Cole Tomas Allen for an attempted assassination at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.
DelleChiaie faces federal charges of interstate communication of a threat against the president, carrying a maximum sentence of five years and a $250,000 fine. His arrest underscores the volatile mix of political anger, conspiracy theories, and mental health issues fueling violence threats in the Trump era.
The FAA declined to comment on DelleChiaie’s employment status, deferring to prosecutors. As the Epstein files continue to expose elite misconduct and trigger public fury, the line between outrage and dangerous action remains perilously thin. We will keep tracking these developments and the broader implications for democratic accountability and public safety.
