Fox News fans adamant 'Trump got a serious issue' after Karoline Leavitt's MRI scan update
President Donald Trump received a clean bill of health following an MRI scan, with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stating that his cardiovascular and abdominal imaging were normal and that he remains in excellent health. Despite the positive medical update, social media users expressed skepticism, questioning the necessity of the MRI and whether it indicates underlying issues. The update comes amid other recent comments from Trump suggesting concerns about his longevity.
President Donald Trump received a clean bill of health after White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, 28, shared the results of his latest MRI scan - but trolls aren't convinced.
The 79-year-old leader's medical update was delivered on Thursday (February 26) during a live Fox News broadcast from the White House, with Leavitt addressing reporters about the Republican president's condition.
The announcement comes after some viewers observed that Trump appeared to be "falling asleep" during televised meetings. Leavitt told the press, "This is a summary from the President's physician. As part of President Trump's comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.
"The purpose of this imaging is preventative, to identify any issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure the President maintains a long-term vitality and function. President Trump's cardiovascular imaging was perfectly normal. No evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels."
She continued, "The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent. His abdominal imaging is also perfectly normal. All major organs appear very healthy and well perfused."
"Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns. In summary, this level of detailed assessment... confirms that he remains in excellent overall health."
Social media users wasted no time weighing in on the announcement. One individual questioned, "So why did he have an MRI then," whilst a second observed, "Normally you don't go under these test unless there is a issue or concern."
Another quipped, "The press room after hearing the update: 'Wait... that's it? No scandal? No plot twist? Just... healthy? After months of dramatic speculation, turns out the big reveal is... Trump's heart works like a normal heart. The audacity [cry-laughing emoji]."

A fourth commenter wondered, "Why do they have to keep making statements about how healthy he is and all his doctor visits?" with another noting, "It's actually not good news that doctors ordered an MRI for a routine physical and it doesn't reveal the cause of whatever the issue they were seeing is.
"Has Trump got a serious issue? It seems to me that he is checked every 2 weeks which is quite a lot for someone who is supposed to be in 'perfect' health," a sixth individual also pondered.
The reactions come on the heels of the president's sobering end-of-life comments during an address at a ceremony honoring Americans killed by "illegal aliens". In a video from the event shared by World Daily News, he declared, "I don't know how long I'll be around. Got a lot of people gunning for me. But I will. I will not forget them. I'm never gonna forget them," referring to the individuals being honored at the gathering.
Trump had declared February 22 as National Angel Family Day. The event marked the second anniversary of the murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley by Jose Ibarra, who was from Venezuela.
The White House announced, "President Trump signed a proclamation designating February 22 as National Angel Family Day - a day of remembrance for victims and their grieving loved ones devastated by the consequences of open border policies."
