NEW YORK —

Several individuals in government, private companies and universities have faced fallout over alleged links to convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The Get the Facts Data Team has created a timeline of reports on individuals who have faced professional or reputational consequences or legal action since Epstein’s arrest in 2019.

Among those who faced professional or reputational consequences were CEOs who resigned or sold their companies, faculty who were suspended and public figures who issued apologies.

Other fallout has led to legal action. Former Prince Andrew was arrested and later released as he remains under investigation on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his ties to Epstein.

Peter Mandelson, a former U.K. ambassador to the United States, was arrested by British police after a criminal investigation was opened. He is accused of leaking information to Jeffrey Epstein.

Former Norwegian PM Thorbjørn Jagland was charged with “aggravated corruption” in connection with an investigation linked to the release of the Epstein files.

The Department of Justice published 3.5 million pages containing emails, documents, videos and images collected from the Florida and New York cases against Epstein.

In the timeline below, individuals who have faced professional or reputational consequences are highlighted in green circles. Individuals who have faced legal action are highlighted in blue.
