In case you missed it, an “outpouring of upset MAGA names” are “melting down” over the possibility that Trump might choose sides in the Texas primary – calling it “one of [Trump’s] biggest mistakes” that “could actually be the real reason Texas Senate seat flips blue.” The overwhelming GOP base pushback to the “total scumbag move” by Trump promises to further fracture the Republican base.

The “brass-knuckled, dregs-scraping, cash-consuming GOP runoff” doesn’t seem likely to stop any time soon, with Ken Paxton vowing that he is “staying in this race” no matter who Trump endorses.
