Ive been battling ice dams for two years. I'm at a loss. : r/Roofing - Reddit
The user has been experiencing persistent ice dams and leaks at the roof edge for two years, despite adding insulation, installing longer drip guards, and sealing shingles around a flat roof area. The attic shows no signs of water damage, indicating water may be penetrating at the roof edge. The roof is less than 10 years old and in good condition otherwise, leaving the user uncertain of the next steps to resolve the issue.

Hello everyone! My roof leaks right where you see the water gathering in the images right at the roof line. I’ve been in the attic and there’s no signs of water damage all the way to the edge. So the water must be penetrating right at the edge of the roof line.
I have added:
new insulation to the attic
Longer drip guards
Tried Henry’s rook repair to seal the shingles around the flat area of the roof.
I’m at a loss of what to do next. The roof isn’t even 10 years old and is in really good shape otherwise.
