Judge Unseals Epstein Suicide Note Amid Lingering Questions Over His Death

A federal judge in the Southern District of New York has unsealed a purported suicide note allegedly written by Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier whose 2019 death in jail sparked widespread suspicion and conspiracy theories. The note, which remains unverified and undated, was placed on the court docket following a request from The New York Times.

District Judge Kenneth Karas ordered the release of the note after it surfaced in a case involving a former Epstein cellmate who claimed to have found it. The handwritten document is unsigned and reads in part: "They investigated me for month – found NOTHING!!! It is a treat to be able to chose ones time to say goodbye. NO FUN – NOT WORTH IT!!"

The Justice Department, which has been releasing millions of documents related to Epstein following a congressional transparency bill, stated in court filings that it does not know if the note is authentic. However, it acknowledged a strong public interest in the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death.

Epstein’s suicide has been the subject of intense scrutiny due to numerous irregularities, including malfunctioning cameras and reportedly negligent jail protocols. His death effectively ended the possibility of holding him accountable for a vast network of sex trafficking involving powerful elites.

The unsealing of this note comes amid ongoing federal investigations and public demands for transparency in the Epstein case. It underscores the persistent doubts about whether justice was truly served and highlights the failures of institutions tasked with protecting victims and prosecuting the powerful.

Only Clowns Are Orange will continue to monitor developments as this story unfolds, holding accountable those who seek to bury the truth behind Epstein’s death and the broader trafficking network he exploited.
