Judge Unseals Jeffrey Epstein Suicide Note, Revealing Chilling Final Words
A federal judge has released a handwritten note allegedly penned by Jeffrey Epstein before his 2019 death in jail. The note, described as a suicide note, offers a grim glimpse into Epstein’s final moments and was uncovered in the case of his former cellmate, convicted murderer Nicholas Tartaglione.
In a development that reopens the dark chapter of Jeffrey Epstein’s death, US District Judge Kenneth Karas has made public a document described as a suicide note purportedly written by Epstein. The note contains the haunting line: “It is a treat to be able to choose ones time to say goodbye,” underscoring the grim circumstances surrounding Epstein’s August 2019 death in a Manhattan jail cell.
Epstein’s death was officially ruled a suicide, but it has long been shrouded in controversy and conspiracy theories given his connections to powerful figures and the serious charges of sex trafficking he faced. The newly released note was found by Epstein’s former jail cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, a convicted murderer and ex-police officer serving four consecutive life sentences for drug-related killings.
Judge Karas, who presided over Tartaglione’s case, ordered the note’s release following a request from The New York Times. He ruled the note qualifies as a judicial document because it was submitted in connection with Tartaglione’s criminal proceedings, thereby granting the public the right to access it.
This revelation adds another layer to the ongoing scrutiny of Epstein’s death and the failures of the justice system to fully explain the circumstances. It also highlights the murky intersections of corruption, power, and accountability that Only Clowns Are Orange relentlessly tracks. As new details emerge, the demand for transparency and justice for Epstein’s victims remains urgent and unresolved.
