White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt faced backlash from social media users during her March 10 press briefing, with critics calling out her outfit and accusing her of dishonesty

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is encountering criticism for alleged 'lying' as she seemingly tries to divert viewers with her striking new attire.

The Trump assistant conducted a live press briefing from the White House on March 10, during which she discussed the Iranian conflict and Trump's Operation Epic Fury, aimed at dismantling Iranian missile capabilities and terrorist networks.

However, spectators were readily sidetracked by Leavitt's ensemble, including a flashy new tweed blazer, as they accused her of 'lies. ' The jacket was tan, adorned with a pink-and-black plaid pattern. She also wore a cross necklace, a common accessory for the political commentator. One individual commented, "The size of the cross she wears matches the size of the lies she tells. Karoline Leavitt is breaking out her biggest pendant today."

Another observed her characteristic aggressive demeanor, stating, "Why is Karoline Leavitt yelling at America? What did we do?" Another person echoed this sentiment, writing, "Karoline Leavitt clearly trained in North Korea."

One appeared to mock the secretary, remarking, "More stand-up comedy from Leavitt."

"The tv is on and Karoline Leavitt is scolding at her presser, shrill and full of lies," another added, whilst someone else claimed she "lies constantly and sounds like Trump's cheerleader."

One took a jab at the jacket, commenting, "OMG, that jacket. Is she suddenly 50?

"Is that a Burberry Neapolitan Ice Cream Print jacket?" another quipped.

The administration is revealing details about Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. military campaign against Iranian forces, which has now entered its second week. Leavitt is utilizing the briefing to present the latest developments, outline the White House's stated objectives, and address responses to recent military and diplomatic events, reports the Mirror US.

In recent public appearances, Leavitt has fielded questions about whether Trump might deploy ground troops in Iran, and she has consistently stated that "all options are on the table" without explicitly dismissing the possibility of a military draft.

During the briefing, she informed the press, "The U.S. military is drawing up additional options following the president's directive to continue keeping the Strait of Hormuz open. I will not broadcast what those options look like, but just know the president is not afraid to use them."

On Monday, Trump announced that the U.S. would provide political risk insurance to tankers operating in the Gulf and the Navy has offered to escort tankers through the strait, if necessary.

"If they do anything to stop the flow of oil or goods within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the world's most powerful military," Leavitt stated.
