Rep. Robert Garcia, the ranking Democrat on the committee, confirmed plans to subpoena anyone with known connections to Epstein, drawing parallels to the committee’s previous hearings with Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Echoing Melania’s call, Garcia urged Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer to schedule immediate public hearings featuring survivors of Epstein’s abuse. Democrats have arranged a "shadow" hearing in May in Palm Beach, Florida—home to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club—where survivors will share their testimonies.

Melania’s call for transparency and public testimony appears designed to distance herself from Epstein’s scandal while framing the issue as one demanding accountability from powerful men.
