Michele Fiore’s Campaign Claims Crumble Under Weight of Theft and Trump’s Dubious Pardons

Michele Fiore’s re-election bid is built on a foundation of lies and stolen money, according to a scathing letter published in the Pahrump Valley Times. Fiore’s campaign billboard proclaims, “They attacked her. She fought back. President Trump stood with Judge Fiore.” But the reality is far uglier: Fiore was caught stealing over $70,000, money she spent on rent, cosmetic surgery, and her daughter’s wedding — hardly the actions of a victim fighting back.

The letter, penned by Nye County citizen and retired legal professional Jerry Hashimura, calls out Fiore’s refusal to admit guilt or pay restitution. Instead, she paints herself as the wronged party, while the true victims are those who trusted her with their money.

Fiore’s claim that Trump “stood with” her aligns her with a disturbing roster of pardoned criminals, including disgraced former Representative George Santos, convicted of fraud and identity theft, and a convicted cop killer charged with further violent crimes. Reports show that at least 13 others pardoned by Trump have committed heinous crimes post-release, underscoring the dangerous consequences of the former president’s abuse of pardon power.

Hashimura’s letter warns voters that Fiore’s campaign rhetoric about “truth, courage, and letting voters decide” rings hollow. Those qualities are sorely lacking in Fiore, whose actions and associations reveal a pattern of corruption and impunity. As the election approaches, Pahrump voters must confront the uncomfortable truth: re-electing Fiore means endorsing theft, denial, and a toxic alliance with Trump’s pardoned criminals.

This letter is a stark reminder that accountability matters — especially when it comes to those who seek public office while hiding behind a veneer of victimhood and loyalty to a former president known for rewarding lawlessness over justice.
