New Reports Suggest Trump’s Department of Justice Hid Epstein Files That Include Serious Allegations About Trump

A new NPR investigation suggests that Donald Trump’s Department of Justice hid dozens of pages of Epstein files alleging Trump sexually abused minors.

The DOJ withheld “what appears to be more than 50 pages of FBI interviews, and notes from conversations with a woman who accused Trump of sexual abuse decades ago when she was a minor,” according to NPR — violating the bipartisan law passed mandating the full release of the files.

According to NPR’s reporting, “The woman who directly named Trump in her abuse allegation claimed that around 1983, when she was around 13 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump ‘who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit. In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out.’”

What has been released of the files includes several members of the Trump administration, but also includes several redacted portions, potentially protecting Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirators.

“Donald Trump continues to lie about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, while his administration works overtime to hide the truth about Epstein’s heinous crimes from the American people. And now, Todd Blanche — Trump’s former personal lawyer — is suggesting there won’t be new charges brought against possible co-conspirators. What a coincidence. Tonight at the State of the Union, Trump will be in the same room as survivors of Epstein’s crimes, whom he has denied transparency and justice. He and his administration must be held accountable for protecting pedophiles.”

DOJ officials assembled a summary of “more than a dozen tips” received about Trump and Epstein, which included “accusations of sexual abuse by Mr. Epstein and Mr. Trump,” but Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said that federal investigators are unable to investigate those tips. Blanche also signaled that no new charges will be brought in the Epstein investigation.

On top of that, Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer told lawmakers that if Trump granted Maxwell clemency, she would clear Trump’s name of any and all wrongdoing related to Epstein.
