PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- More than 20 states - including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware - filed a lawsuit Thursday challenging President Trump's new global tariffs.
The states argue that the president is overstepping his authority with planned 15% tariffs on goods from much of the world.
Trump announced the new tariffs after a Supreme Court decision found that most of his previous tariffs were illegal.
The lawsuit also follows a recent federal ruling requiring that money collected under the earlier tariffs be refunded. Estimates suggest those refunds could total roughly $175 billion.
