Philadelphia high school students lead anti-ICE walkout - 6abc Action News
Thomas Alva Edison High School students walked out of class Monday afternoon.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia students staged a walkout to protest the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE.
The students walked out of Edison High School in Hunting Park Monday afternoon.
Philadelphia Police were there to keep the protestors moving.
The school district says it does not sanction these protests.
Parents of students involved were notified in accordance with policy, and participants were recorded for an unexcused time away from class.
