Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks on U.S. and Israeli bases, as well as strikes near Riyadh and Dubai. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has reportedly threatened further attacks, and a temporary leadership council has been formed until a permanent successor to Khamenei is chosen.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump coordinated the strikes from Mar-a-Lago and spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The administration will continue to monitor the situation closely.
