Purported Jeffrey Epstein Suicide Note Surfaces, Raising More Questions About His Death

A federal judge in New York has unsealed a handwritten note purportedly written by Jeffrey Epstein while in jail, shedding new light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death. The note had been kept under wraps for years as part of a separate case involving Epstein’s former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione.

The note’s contents are chilling and defiant. It reads: “They investigated me for month — Found nothing!!! It is a treat to be able to choose one’s time to say goodbye. Watcha want me to do — Bust out cryin!! NO FUN — NOT WORTH IT!!” Tartaglione claims he discovered the note hidden inside a graphic novel after Epstein was moved from their shared cell following an earlier suicide attempt.

Epstein died weeks later in what authorities ruled a suicide, but his death has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories suggesting foul play. The release of this note was approved by federal prosecutors, who cited “a strong public interest in the circumstances surrounding Epstein’s death” as justification.

While Tartaglione’s lawyers say they have authenticated the note, no official court or investigative body has verified its legitimacy. However, the note’s language matches phrases Epstein used in emails and in a separate note found in his cell at the time of his death, which listed grievances about jail conditions.

This new piece of evidence adds another layer to the ongoing debate about Epstein’s death and the broader failures in the system that allowed his trafficking and abuse to continue unchecked. As the public demands transparency and accountability, the release of this note serves as a stark reminder of the unanswered questions that still surround one of the most notorious cases of elite impunity in recent history.
