Secretary Kennedy says cell phone-free schools is how America becomes healthy again
WASHINGTON (TNND) — Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience that cell phone-free schools will help make America healthy gain.
“Bell-to-bell, cell phone–free education is restoring focus and reconnecting families in 26 states,” he wrote in a post on X Thursday.
“Strong schools build strong communities. That’s how we[Make America Healthy Again].”
He attached a clip from Rogan’s podcast where he talked about different school districts and how they manage phones in classrooms.
He said that he visited a school in Loudoun County, Virginia where students fought for the ability to keep their cell phones in class.
“In that state, they can bring their cell phone to school but they have to leave it in their backpack,” Kennedy said.
He said that if parents need to call and talk to their kid they can.
Kennedy said at first the students were against not being able to use their phones in schools, but eventually they liked it.
“I walked into the cafeteria..there were 600 kids in that cafeteria and they’re all talking to each other,” he said. “They’re sitting across the table. Nobody’s looking at their laps.”
While on Rogan’s show, he also talked about how to fix America’s food system and touted a book he wrote called, “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health.”
