On Feb. 25, Palatine students staged a walkout during school hours to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Donald Trump’s federal immigration policies. Students gathered outside the school and marched through nearby streets carrying handmade signs and flags. While most participants walked together as a group, some cars joined the demonstration and moved alongside the marchers. At several points during the protest, students filled the street, stood on vehicles and chanted slogans directed at ICE and federal immigration enforcement.
