Trump Vetoed Water Bill for Colorado as Punishment Over Epstein File Push, Massie Claims

In a stunning allegation that exposes the Trump administration’s brutal tactics to suppress the Jeffrey Epstein files, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) claimed on The Tucker Carlson Show that President Donald Trump vetoed a bill that would have delivered water to a large portion of Colorado. The reason? Boebert’s support for transparency about Epstein’s trafficking network.

Massie revealed that after Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, she was summoned to the White House Situation Room—a high-security command center typically reserved for critical national security operations. There, she was pressured to withdraw her support for the petition.

“Lauren Boebert, they took her over to the Situation Room,” Massie said. “This is where if they are trying to kill or capture Osama Bin Laden, this is where they are at the White House. They took her into the Situation Room and tried to whip her into taking her name off of the discharge petition.”

When Carlson asked if this was really about Epstein, Massie confirmed, “Over Epstein, yep.”

The retaliation escalated when Trump vetoed a water bill vital to Colorado residents, Massie said. “Why are people in Colorado deprived of water because their representative wants to expose a sex trafficking ring?” he asked, underscoring the administration’s willingness to sacrifice public welfare to protect powerful interests tied to Epstein.

Massie also condemned Trump’s treatment of other GOP women who supported the petition, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Mace. Greene reportedly faced death threats from right-wing extremists and was told by Trump that the threats were her own fault. Trump also warned Greene that pushing forward with the Epstein file release would harm his “friends,” a cryptic reference to Epstein’s powerful enablers.

This episode reveals a Trump White House obsessed with burying the truth about Epstein’s trafficking network, even at the cost of punishing lawmakers and depriving constituents of essential resources. It is a stark example of authoritarian overreach and the corrosive influence of corruption on democratic governance.

The full claims aired on The Tucker Carlson Show and were reported by Mediaite. We will continue to track developments as more details about the Epstein file suppression and its fallout emerge.
