Trump’s Name Haunts Epstein Files While He Courts Fame Elsewhere
Donald Trump is obsessed with stamping his name on everything from national parks to currency, yet he remains silent about his troubling presence in the Epstein files. Despite his name appearing over 5,000 times, Trump has never pushed for justice for Epstein’s victims or accountability for the powerful enablers caught in the trafficking network.
Donald Trump’s craving for self-promotion is well documented. From renaming battleships and national landmarks to attempting to brand New York’s Penn Station with his name, the former president’s ego knows no bounds. He even managed to affix his name to the Institute of Peace — an ironic move given his administration’s decimation of government agencies and the absence of any real peace domestically or globally since.
But while Trump plastered his name in public spaces, there is one place where his name appears far too often without consequence: the Jeffrey Epstein files. According to a recent letter to the Scranton Times-Tribune, Trump’s name is mentioned more than 5,000 times in those documents. Yet the FBI dismissed accusations against him as unworthy of investigation, a decision that raises serious questions about political interference and selective justice.
The letter suggests that distractions like firing Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and launching wars may have been calculated moves to divert public attention away from the Epstein scandal. Trump’s silence on the abuse and trafficking of women and girls linked to Epstein is deafening. He has never publicly supported the victims or pushed the Justice Department to pursue Epstein’s enablers — a roster that includes politicians, millionaires, and celebrities worldwide.
This lack of accountability is not unique to the Trump era. The Biden administration, despite promises of justice, has also failed to aggressively pursue those responsible for one of the most notorious organized sex trafficking operations in recent history.
The question remains: who exactly is being protected? The ongoing failure to hold Epstein’s customers and accomplices accountable is a travesty of justice. Civic engagement is critical now more than ever. Contact your congressional representatives and demand transparency and action. We cannot let this injustice continue while powerful figures evade responsibility.
