Vance previously visited Wisconsin in August, in La Crosse.

Vice President JD Vance visiting Wisconsin on Thursday - WTMJ

PLOVER, Wis. — Vice President JD Vance is making a trip to Wisconsin on Thursday, February 26 ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Vance will visit Plover, just south of Stevens Point, and tour a manufacturing facility.

Vance will deliver remarks celebrating the Trump administration’s accomplishments following the President’s State of the Union address, according to his office.

Plover is part of the congressional district represented by Republican U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden.

National Democrats have said this week it’s one of two Republican-held districts in Wisconsin they are trying to flip this fall.

The Vice President was in Wisconsin back in August with a visit to La Crosse.
