Watch: 'SNL' pokes fun at RFK Jr. over Dunkin' challenge - The Boston Globe

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has ruffled a few feathers in Boston and beyond with his statements over Dunkin’, and now, “Saturday Night Live” is poking fun at the coffee kerfuffle.
During the latest episode of “SNL,” Weekend Update co-anchor and Harvard alum Colin Jost weighed in on Kennedy recently telling a Texas crowd that he plans to challenge the Canton-based chain to prove the safety of its sugary beverages.
“We’re going to ask Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks, ‘Show us the safety data that show that it’s OK for a teenage girl to drink an iced coffee with 115 grams of sugar in it,’” Kennedy said. “I don’t think they’re gonna be able to do it.”
Joking that Kennedy looked like “The White Lotus” star Walton Goggins, but if someone left him “in an air fryer,” Jost quipped that the health secretary may face an Oscar-winning, Dunkin’-loving Boston celebrity over his statements.

“[Kennedy] said that he would challenge Dunkin’ Donuts to prove that their sugary drinks are safe. You know what that means: a push-up contest with Ben Affleck,” joked Jost.
The actual Affleck, who starred in yet another Super Bowl ad for the brand in February, has yet to comment on Kennedy’s Dunkin’ challenge. However, other notable New Englanders have responded, including Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, who dared the health secretary to “come and take it” in a social media post last week that featured the iconic Texas Revolution flag emblazoned with a Dunkin’ cup.
