| I'd prefer Rubio as he is a low key highly competent executive from his time so far in this admin but competent policy wonks don't do well in big elections. Vance I think beats him in a primary because he has shown he's good in presidential races and has a better following with the MAGA crowd. I think it depends on the state of the nation. If the economy is screaming hot then there might not be a pendelum swing/backlash against MAGA candidates then Vance would be the clear favorite for our side. If the electorate has soured on the continued insanity of a Trump Light presidency then it'd be better to have Rubio as a calming centrist to pose against the Democrat's inevitable lunatic. |
