A MAGA Dad's Post Slamming Donald Trump For His US Women's Hockey Team "Joke" Is Going Viral

As I'm sure you've heard, Donald Trump, the supposed "protector of women's sports," recently joked with the US men's hockey team about having to also invite the gold-winning US women's hockey team to the State of the Union.

While on a call congratulating the men's team after their win, Trump eagerly invited them to the State of the Union. "I must tell you, we're going to have to bring the women's team. You do know that," Trump said as players laughed. "I do believe I'd probably would be impeached [if I don't invite them], ok?"

Well, the MAGA dad of a "very successful women's hockey player" recently called out Donald Trump for his joke in a now-viral post.

"President Trump, while I am a MAGA supporter, I am the father of a very successful Women's Ice Hockey player, who also wore a USA Hockey Jersey as a competitive player. I MUST CALL YOU OUT ON THE RED CARPET for your VERY disrespectful and misogynistic comment made towards the Women Players of the gold medal team."

"SIR, I doubt you care what I have to say to you on this platform, but YOU the 'Commander and Chief' saying to the men's team... is totally inappropriate and a disgrace to your office and the American people."

"The Gold Medal women's team and their families deserved more from YOU, the president of the United States...I hope you somehow see this post and reflect on your comment!"

In the thousands of comments, people are suggesting that the MAGA dad only seems to care about Trump's misogyny now that it's affecting his loved ones.

"If it were a different sports team that won gold and Trump did this, this guy wouldn’t care. It just matters to him because it’s about his daughter," this person said.

"Trump has a decades-long, endless list of saying horrible things about women. This guy didn't care. He says something horrible about female hockey players, of which his daughter is one. NOW he cares," this person said.

"A lack of empathy is the single greatest factor in whether someone is MAGA. That is why our country is in such shit right now. They only care about things that impact them personally, but as seen, that doesn't work out to a good society for just about anyone."
