CBS News will broadcast President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union address and the Democratic response on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The Network will provide coverage and analysis across all shows and platforms.

Plus, Tony Dokoupil anchors special editions of CBS EVENING NEWS. Dokoupil anchors from Washington on Tuesday, Feb. 24, including a Network exclusive with Speaker Mike Johnson. On Wednesday, Feb. 25, Dokoupil brings the broadcast to Maryland as part of the show’s “Live from America” series.

Executive director of elections and surveys Anthony Salvanto will contribute new CBS polling on what Americans are looking to hear from the President’s speech. Additional CBS News journalists will report from the White House, Capitol Hill and New York.
