I'm Fed Up With the Bullshit. And It's Getting Worse.
If You’re Paying Attention, You Should Be Too.
I’m Fed Up With the Bullshit. And It’s Getting Worse.
If You’re Paying Attention, You Should Be Too.
I’m fed up with the bullshit.
The kind that builds when leaders say one thing on the campaign trail and do the exact opposite once they have power.
He stood on stages across the country and said he would not get us into wars.
Now he started a war with Iran.
He said he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours.
Instead the war continues, American resources keep flowing into the conflict, and the path to peace looks no closer than it did before he made that promise.
He told Americans he would bring prices down.
Instead he pushed tariffs that economists warned would raise costs and harm valuable relationships around the world. Today, countries are building new trade alliances with our competitors and American families are paying more for everyday goods.
He promised a presidency built around peace.
Instead he ordered attacks in Venezuela and openly threatened Canada and Greenland.
He said immigration enforcement would focus on dangerous criminals.
Instead we’re seeing everyday moms, dads, and kids detained. People who work here, raise families here, and are part of the communities many of us live in every day. We also watched American citizens killed by ICE.
He said America First.
Yet hundreds of millions of dollars are flowing overseas to support the goals of other governments.
He never promised to protect the environment. And true to that, he has rolled back major environmental protections that safeguard the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the future our kids will inherit.
He said he would bring the best people into government.
Instead we’re watching convicted felons and clearly unqualified individuals placed into positions of power while taxpayers fund their salaries.
He promised to drain the swamp.
Instead we are watching the largest grifts in political history, especially around conflicts of interest and crypto.
He said he cares about all Americans.
Yet almost every day his rhetoric and policies push Americans further apart.
He says he supports police officers and the rule of law.
Yet he pardoned all 1500 of the January 6 rioters.
He keeps putting his name and face on government and private buildings like the country is a billboard.
Every day it sends the same message. This is about power and personal branding, and he makes America look more authoritarian with each passing day.
He said he would release the Epstein files.
Instead his administration is fighting to keep them buried to avoid embarrassing powerful friends.
And here’s the part that should stop everyone cold.
It’s only been one year.
One year.
It’s time for Americans to stop the bullshit.
The midterms are everything.
