Letter | How can GOP still be claiming voter fraud? - The Cap Times

Dear Editor: President Trump, along with candidate for Wisconsin governor Tom Tiffany and all Wisconsin members of Congress, are pushing the SAVE Act — now rebranded the SAVE America Act — on the premise that noncitizen voter fraud is rampant and threatening American elections. The history of Trump’s own legal battles exposes this Big Lie.
After the 2020 election, Trump and his allies filed 62 lawsuits across nine states, including Wisconsin, challenging the results. Courts — including those presided over by Trump’s own appointees — rejected 61 of them. A landmark report, "Lost, Not Stolen," authored by prominent Republican attorneys and former officials, examined every case in every battleground state and concluded there was no credible evidence that fraud changed the outcome in even a single precinct. The data on noncitizen voting is equally clear. The Heritage Foundation — the MAGA-aligned think tank — has documented only 100 instances of noncitizen voter fraud across the entire country since 2000.
At Trump's request, Robin Vos and Michael Gableman spent nearly $2 million of Wisconsin taxpayers’ dollars to find fraud in Wisconsin's 2020 election. They found none. The only election-related fraud in America today is the overt intent on voter suppression, being knowingly perpetrated by the Republican party.
