Massie's state of union guest was called 'Radical Left' by Trump - Cincinnati Enquirer
U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie is bringing his wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa, to the upcoming State of the Union address, after President Trump publicly targeted their marriage on social media, calling her a "Radical Left 'flamethrower'." Massie responded by stating he and his wife, who has voted for Trump three times, made the decision to attend together, and he emphasized that spouses should be off-limits. Moffa is known as a political "secret weapon" for Massie, who has notable involvement in transparency efforts related to Jeffrey Epstein's case.

- U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie is bringing his new wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa, to the State of the Union address.

- Massie stated that spouses should be off-limits and noted his wife has voted for Trump three times.
Republican U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie is taking a "Radical Left 'flamethrower'" to President Donald Trump's State of the Union address Feb. 24 – his new wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa.
Earlier this month, Trump targeted the newlywed pair on social media where he wrote, "People are saying that Thomas Massie became a Liberal because his new wife, blessed be their marriage, is supposedly a Radical Left “flamethrower.”"
It's the second time the president has posted about Massie's wife.
After their marriage last fall, Trump posted on Truth Social, "Have a great life Thomas and (?). His wife will soon find out that she’s stuck with a LOSER!"
Massie, who hosted a campaign launch party in Florence, Kentucky Feb. 21, said he and his wife made the decision to attend the address together after Trump's second insult.
"I hope the president knows that she's there, that she's listening. She voted for him three times and I think he was incorrect to call her names," Massie said. "I think spouses should be off limits, but she'll be there in person."
Massie was previously married to his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Massie, who died unexpectedly in 2024 after years of health struggles. She was 51.
Carolyn Grace Moffa is Massie's 'secret weapon'
Massie first met Carolyn Grace Moffa about 10 years ago when she worked for U.S. Sen. Rand Paul. They reconnected in 2025 and married last fall.
Massie has called his new wife his "secret weapon" in politics.
She's the one who told him he should ask U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi about the Epstein files when the two met for dinner.
"I could tell she was covering something up and the rest, as they say, is history," he told a crowd during his campaign headquarters kickoff.
Massie was the leading Republican voice behind the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which passed in November. It has led to the release of thousands of files connected to billionaire Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring.
