Republican Representative Thomas Massie has accused President Donald Trump of using U.S. strikes against Iran as a distraction from the ongoing Epstein files controversy, posting on X that "bombing a country on the other side of the globe won't make the Epstein files go away." The U.S. joined Israel in attacking Iran, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, four American soldiers killed, and three U.S. fighter jets downed over Kuwait. Massie and Democratic Representative Ro Khanna have been vocal advocates for full disclosure of the Epstein files, previously introducing a discharge petition and pressuring the DOJ to release redacted names. The DOJ attributed the initial omission of names such as Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem and Leslie Wexner to human error.

The attacks on Iran won’t divert one Republican’s attention from the controversial ** Jeffrey Epstein **files.

is reportedly in plenty of those documents, though his name is said to be redacted countless times.

Donald TrumpWhile those working for Trump contend that he’s done nothing wrong in connection to the late sex offender, there is plenty of controversy coming out about those files. Over the weekend, the US bombed Iran, joining forces with Israel to do so. Those attacks led to the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. At least one politician believes he knows the motivation behind that attack.

Donald’s strike against Iran isn’t being met with cheers by Kentucky’s 4th district Representative. Thomas Massie believes that it’s another tactical move by the President to divert public attention from a disturbing scandal. On X, Thomas declared that bombing Iran “won’t make the Epstein files go away.”

Thomas was among the politicians to demand that the Epstein files be released last year. He, along with Democrat Ro Khanna, introduced a discharge petition to force a vote on a law to compel the release of those files. The President signed off on this, though not all of those documents were released by the December deadline. Millions more have since come out this year.

Both Thomas and Ro pushed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release redacted names from the Epstein files last month. The DOJ called it human error that it initially failed to name the likes of Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem and billionaire Leslie Wexner, among others, in the Epstein files.

There were at least four American soldiers killed because of those Iranian attacks, while three US fighter jets were reportedly brought down over Kuwait. That has seemingly enabled the Epstein files to drop from the top of the news. California Representative Ted Lieu blasted the Trump administration for naming Bill and Hillary Clinton in the Epstein files and aiming to have them testify before Congress. He calls that another distraction move.
