The Whole Internet, Including Gavin Newsom, Is Dragging This Fox News Host For This One ...
California Governor Gavin Newsom received criticism after joking about his SAT score and dyslexia during a speech, which he described as "fake outrage." Newsom, who has been open about living with dyslexia, faced backlash from conservative figures, including Fox News' Jesse Watters, who expressed a desire for a president who scores highly on standardized tests. The incident sparked widespread online mockery and commentary.

In case you missed it, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been under fire over one thing he said on Monday.
Speaking with Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, who is Black, and explaining the "humble" premise of his new memoir Young Man in a Hurry, Newsom said, "I'm not trying to impress you, I'm just trying to impress upon you I'm like you, I'm not better than you."
Young Man in a Hurry
"I'm a 960 SAT guy, and you know, I'm not trying to offend anyone — you know — trying to act all there if you got 940 — but literally, a 960 SAT guy. You've never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech. Maybe the wrong business to be."
The remark drew backlash from conservative figures ranging from Sen. Tim Scott to Nicki Minaj.
However, Mayor Dickens posted on Instagram in support of Newsom.
And, for his part, Newsom has characterized this criticism as "fake fucking outrage."
For context, Newsom was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child, and he has been very open about living and working with this learning disability. He has opened up about it in interviews and even co-authored a children's book about it. On Monday, after his controversial SAT line, Newsom went on to say, "I haven't overcome dyslexia. I'm living with it."
Now, it's time to talk about Fox News' own Jesse Watters entering the chat and immediately burning himself in a way that's objectively pretty funny.
On The Five, Watters shared a take about Newsom's dyslexia and the apparent likelihood of the governor making a presidential run in 2028, saying, "I don’t want a president who scores poorly. I don't want a president who struggles to read. I want a really smart president."
