Aghayeva was released the same day after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani intervened with President Trump, and Cornell administration stated it is continuing to monitor the situation.
"A constitutional ruling cannot be reduced to a temporary directive that must be relitigated each time," the judge said. "The Constitution does not contemplate violations in installments."
The anti-ICE rally was led by youth groups who expressed their concern about immigration enforcement and its affect on immigrant families.
